Skyfall

On saturday I went to see Skyfall the new Bond movie ! I must say It was the best bond movie that I have ever seen !

I won't give anything away but I think that it's definitely a must see movie !

It's Bond number 23 and It's definitely the best !This is a terrific James Bond movie, thoughtfully written, brilliant cast and it is still every bit a Bond film. But even if it wasn't a Bond film, it would still be excellent!

The best quote from the movie has to be "When all else fails, sometimes the old way works best.”

In the year of the Diamond jubilee and the Olympics this just closes British year very nicely ! Not to mention Adele's track to go with it !

8 Creature cups to spice up your morning intake of caffine !

It’s nice to have something that makes you smile as early in the day as your first coffee cup. A Brooklyn-based team of designers (and coffee lovers) called Yumi Yumi, created a line of cups with goofy creatures on the bottom, which slowly emerge as you sip your drink.

 

As of now, so-called Creature Cups include Octopus, Crocodile, Pelican, Sea Otter, Spider, Shark and Lobster, but there’s also one with a skull.

If you’d like to have those fellas in your coffee, they are available from Yumi Yumi or Amazon ! Just another one of the many weird and wonderful things that I find whilst Internet shopping !

£40.00 . I love these retro cowboy boots because they would make any pair of skinny jeans look instantly better ! I also love the Aztec print !

 

4.Ambush boots by Topshop . They just look good and ooze style and sophistication !They are £70.

 

 

5.The Tapesty boot.Tapestry is going to be a big trend next season, and I love the muted colours used on these heeled ankle boots. These will be great matched with Burgundy leggings and plenty of charcoal grey faux fur .Retail at £78 from Topshop.

6.   I was browsing through Topshop, I came across the most amazing little heeled ankle boots in a leather and suede finish. They do have an £80 price tag but they are gorgeously soft and they look amazing !

Head pieces, bands and bows

Today I went shopping and I bought several funky headpieces for reasonable prices !

The First one is from Topshop and was £10 . I think its really in at the moment and you can wear it with practically anything !

I bought this lemon hairband from Claire's Accessory's and I think it just adds a pop of colour to any outfit ! It was £8.50.

Continuing with a fruity theme I found this Cherry headpiece in Bellasugar ! I think its quite an autumnal red rather than the bright yellow !

I also found this rose studded hairband in Topshop i thought that it bought the edge of the studs and gave it a pretty but hardcore look !

I saw so many Bows it was unbelievable !I happen to think they are quite cute and I have a black and red one !!

Young apprentice

Young apprentice is coming out next Thursday at 20:00.
It is a show where Lord Sugar puts twelve tycoons of tomorrow, aged between 16 and 17, through their paces as they each compete to win a £25,000 fund to kick-start their business career.

Their first task however is anything but glamorous, as they roll up their tailored sleeves and start  sifting through a mountain of other people's cast-offs in the search for something special.
With cash from Lord Sugar to invest in cleaning and customising, the rivalry is intense as the twelve challengers who want  to impress the boss, some splashing out on grand designs, others opting for a budget approach. The decision of how to spend their money is theirs but only one factor will be considered in the first boardroom showdown - who has made the biggest profit on Lord Sugar's investment?

This is a programme well worth watching also I think its very insightful into the business world of today ! The clip above is a bit random but it indroduces the new candidates !

Hot off the heels of September Fashion Week, Oscar de la Renta, Balenciaga, M Missoni and Valentino are trying to keep the buzz around their labels by auctioning off month-long internships in their head offices.

 

 The unpaid work placements will offer the winning bidder experience in the sales, press, merchandising or PR departments of the fashion houses and are open to students aged 18 and over, who are currently enrolled in an accredited college or university course. All proceeds will go to New York-based charity Rosie's Theatre Kids, which aims to improve the lives of children through arts education.

They are valued at $10,000 (£6,240) each and with seven days left, the bid for the Balenciaga internship currently stands at $1,350 (£843); Oscar de la Renta at $1,000 (£624); with the Valentino and M Missoni internships yet to receive a bid.

 

I think that the giving the proceeds to charity is a good idea but people who are currently in an accredited college or university don't usually have money to spend on unpaid work !

 

I would love to have this opportunity except I'm not 18 and so that's the first downside !!
