My Favourite Upcoming designers

You heard about them from me first .
We all hear about the top of the top designers but there are the upcoming , trend setting ones too ! Here are my favourite !

 Camilo Sanchez

Love Citizens Swimwear
With two degrees in fashion: one from school in Colombia and the other at FIT, he sought to do what made him happy. That’s when he started Love Citizens, a free-spirited swimwear label based in New York. Designed for a relaxed, eclectic woman, he’s mixing influence from popular culture and art to build the label.
Now, the line focuses on custom designs on bikinis that are fresh and graphic-driven. He’s also made sure to add in a dose of sophistication. His flattering dancing queen silhouette that accentuates curves the right way was one answer. He tells us, “we realized that the young swimwear market was overloaded with bikini options but not a lot one piece swimsuits. So, we decided to make a cool and sexy swimsuit for those young customers " . I LOVE this new brand !

Dario Scapitta

Has fallen for 3-D printing. These sculpture like, complex shapes, modern designs and everyday statements are the vision for his accessories brand. With a start in 2012, he is quickly finding his way by experimenting and designing with ease; a benefit of this new technology. His cuff and bracelet are just a couple of his nylon pieces that standout and are easy to wear because of its flexible and lightweight composition. Next up, he plans on more styles that focus on innovative design and merging other materials with this new form of production , These are beautiful and would look great with evening wear / black dress .

Jonathan Simkhai

While plenty of ambitious kids realize they want to get into fashion at an early age, few can say they were working by the time they were 14. Jonathan Simkhai had just entered high school when a shop owner in his hometown of Scarsdale, a suburb of New York City, offered him a job after seeing him pick out clothes for his friends.

"One of my girlfriends was borrowing my clothes and wearing oversized men's shirts to go out. I called her up and was like, 'Oh, I need my shirt back.' But she told me she loved it so much!" he says with a laugh. "There was a void in the market for menswear-inspired designer stuff, so I told her, 'I'll make a collection of clothes for you, and I'll get my stuff back.'"

Starting with men's shirts and going from there, Jonathan started perfecting his sporty masculine-meets-feminine aesthetic. His spring collection marked the first time he showed on a large scale, presenting at Milk Studios in New York. Oozing California cool, the models donned mirrored shades and duds — inspired by LA skate culture past and present — that managed to be structured but not rigid.

As for what to expect going forward, the designer has plans for accessories and collaborations, but his most exciting next move could involve menswear. Men's clothing from the newly minted prince of menswear-inspired womenswear sounds promising indeed.

Cow Print Shirt

cow print shirt.
This Cow Print Top from Topshop <3 I was so fond of it I had to put it in an outfit !
I saw this Micheal Kors Bag in Miami and just fell in love . IT IS PERFECT (and also £995) .

Lavander Sky

lavender sky.
There's no denying it: Arresting shades of bright orchid, mauve, plum and eggplant are delivering purple power to us . It's definitely a bold, get-you-noticed look, but it's also a super-fresh take on the requisite browns and berries we all see eeeeevery autumn. So, if there's one trend on its way to luring you in, this is it!

Eyes: Whether you go with shimmery lavender effect or a dramatic pigmented plum, try any of these tools for casting a purple gaze.

Betsey Johnson SS/14 NYFW

Recap: Betsey Johnson SS/14
Getting a daily dose of Pretty, Hip Hop, Rock and Roll is a must for Spring 2014 because Betsey Johnson advised it .

The models walked down with cotton candy pink hair to the soundtrack of "Pretty in Pink". Ice blue, grey lipstick with matching eyeshadows. All the models wore large hoop earrings, chains and two finger rings with a simple "Betsey" going across.

Key style points:

Dose of Pretty: soft pale pink, ruffles, floral dresses and fluffy tulle dresses in white or pink.

Dose of Hip Hop: white on white , leopard prints, fingerless gloves, tulle

Dose of Rock n' Roll: attitude, black on black, encrusted sunnies with some bling.

I LOVED watching this show It was pure Over The Top Fashion fabulousity  .

London Fashion Week - Burberry Prorsum Spring 2014

London Fashion Week - Burberry Prorsum Spring 2014

I loved Burberry at London Fashion show . The 'macaron colors' made  for a sweet collection with no hard edges . The English lace was everywhere and it worked well.
Burberrys outerwear featured beautiful lilac and mint lace coatdresses, some of them cinched with thick bejeweled belts or adorned here and there with sparkling rosettes.

After a few seasons of studs, buckles, and the rest .... this soft sugary collection is much welcomed !

Above is my outfit inspiration

Made In Chelsea - LUCY'S LOOk

So all my readers know by now that I'm a massive fan of Made in Chelsea .

If your a newbie and don't follow Made in Chelsea it's an eye-opening reality series that follows the lives and loves of the socially elite 20-somethings who live in some of London's most exclusive postcodes .

They are all incredibly well dressed however my favourite fashionista in MIC is Lucy Watson who is a main character in the series .

Whilst filming for the new series she has been spotted wearing one of my favourite online brands ( ) !

My favourite outfit of hers has to be her 'Homies' T-shirt with the cut out Platforms . The T-shirt is a take on the very expensive designer 'Herm├Ęs' and personally I think that it is uber chic and cute .

You can buy all of the clothing below from !

Boohoo is one of the UK’s leading online fashion retailers, offering trend-led clothing at affordable prices. Boohoo provide a wide selection of celebrity and catwalk inspired pieces – with lots of new looks arriving daily , that's why I love it !
