Early nights and warm evenings in front of the fire

 On these cold winter evenings all I want to do is curl up with some hot choccy and watch good old Downton Abbey.In this post I'm going to blog about having the perfect Saturday night.

1. Light the  fire in your house (if you have one) . Do this with a super funky Fred Bulter limited edition lighter . This colourful lighter is perfect for this sort of thing and a lighter is always very useful to have in your handbag . Also I think it would make a fabulous Christmas gift or birthday present to someone who smokes or not.I was very kindly gifted one of these lighters and I just think that they are awesomely unique and colourful. They are made by Zippo. It is also limited edition  and I absolutely love the design ! In fact I'm just off to light some sparklers and fireworks in style for my sisters birthday ! I also made some effort with a cake  as you can see .

2. A onesie. Onesies are just a massive cuddly warm and cosy excuse to watch telly and lounge about  ! I have found the perfect onesie. It has LIVE LOVE LOUNGE on the back . This does reflect my view on life . It is from Bedroom Athletics and they also have some really nice slippers . It also looks really warm . I do confess to wearing a onesie whilst blogging ! Bedroom athletics also have a pink onesie that I also think would be really nice to sleep in !

3. Some funny films . My all time must see movies are

1.  21 Jump street : It makes me laugh every time I watch it .

 2.Chalet Girl  : I have been to St Anton and the movie is a classic girls night in movie.

3.The Love Guru : It is absolutely hilarious.

4. A great box of Chocolates . My favourites are Hotel Chocolat's taster collections . ( you only receive them if you are a member of the Chocolate tasting club) Chocolate solves most things problems !

Kandee Shoes

I do my fair share of shoe shopping, that is for sure and I have many favourite shoe shops  .If you read my blog alot then you will know about my love of bright neon colours  and crazy ideas.

Kandee Shoes is possibly now my favourite shoe shop ! It has some of the brightest highest shoes in it's new collection ! Plus pretty much all of the shoes are made with faux Python embossed leather which just adds WOW factor ! There are shoes and  ankle boots my personal favourites are the ankle boots I must say .

To add to this they have matching bags . YES MATCHING BAGS AND CLUTCHES ! This is their first Handbag range and I think that it is designed  very well ! The colour clash idea has been suggested too me and I think that this could be the start of a trend.
  
Celebrity fans include Jessie J  , The Kardashians and Rita Ora and they all have some serious style / their stylist have some serious style !

 
 The collection has a very eye catching name , Its called Skinnie Bitch .I think that this really is a name that will be gossipped about !Only this afternoon I was telling some of my fellow classmates about this name and it spread like wildfire .

The prices are very reasonable for what they are and they aren't absolutely ridiculously priced !

My favourite bag has to be the Green neon one below and my favourite shoes are either the Pinkberry boots or the studded black and yellow pair pictured in the picture wheel ! The clutch below looks to good to eat , that would add some serious style to any outfit !

5 hair and beauty products I couldn't live without

1. My Tangle Teezer. Have you ever had a hairbrush that pretends to get the knots out of your hair and just leaves it frizzy ? Well my much loved friend the Tangle Teezer is suppose to be better for your hair than a regular hairbrush as it is designed to 'glide' through your hair, untangling it without pulling it. This therefore, it prevents breakage ! Plus my hair doesn't go frizzy it just feels soft and shiny !Also you can store hairbands in it ! It retails around £10

2. Bare Minerals. All of my Foundation , brushes and primers are Bare minerals . I have found that they don't block my pores and having teenage skin it also reduces spots because of the oil free powder !I hate being able to feel foundation, & I hate the effort of washing it off every night . This solves all of these problems !Applying the foundation takes maybe 30 seconds. I don't feel like I have anything on my face at all.
Plus it looks really natural ! The starter kit retails around £37 or less depending on what you buy !

3. My Witch oil control face foam. It is the best face foam cleanser I have come across and I use it morning and night to clear my skin before sleep or applying makeup ! It also helps to keep my skin clear and bright ! Retails around £2.

4. My Body Shop Passionfruit body butter. It is so moisturising and it smells absolutley delicious ! I use it just before bed time to allow the moisture to sink in ! Retails around £12

5. Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream. It literally works on anything , Lips blemishes cuts , sunburn . It is my all in one miracle cream for everything ! It is probably the best long lasting lips balm as well ! It never has smelt great but now there is a fragrance free version !

 

Lyn Harris perfume

 Lyn Harris founder of the fragrance house Miller Harris, has created six unique scents for M&S. Her perfumes would usually cost anything up to thousands of pounds but she has now created quite reasonably priced perfumes for M&S for around £30 .

  I personally love all of the new range and don't have a favourite , I prefer less sweet smelling perfumes and more woody fragrances plus  all the range are completely different.

Lyn Harris uses lots of naturals in her Miller Harris formulations and she’s keeping it natural for M&S too ! This is like a Burberry bag going to Primark for a tiny fraction of the price so it's a bit of a no brainer ! They are expected to sell out very quickly , so you have been warned ! Perfect early Christmas gift to me !

My Godmother also bought me some of the Butterfly perfume from M&S and it smells exactly the same as Marc Jacobs Dot . And it looks like it too .It's quite fruity, fresh and fun .It has  apple, watery cucumber and zesty grapefruit that drift to a magnolia flower, and  rose and violet which are followed by a rich base of musk's and amber. It is not sickly sweet which is what I hate about some perfumes !

A Walk in the countryside

This weekend I was visiting friends and family in the Lake district and Durham so I had plenty of time for walks in the countryside !


 I wore a dress woolly tunic from Pussycat London with a pink Jack Wills hoodie and my absolute favourite Barbour green wax jacket and my Glastonbury Hunters .

 In my hair I wore the studded hairband by Topshop that I have previously blogged about and some gloves from The Denver Broncos ! My sunglasses are from H&M ! Living in the country I have quite a love of funky wellies and these are definitely in my top 3 pairs !

It's literally too good to eat

Food is an art ... well the presentation and It has now been made into Jewelry . Sometimes cupcakes are so pretty that it’s one of the main reason we end up having one too many… My personal favourites are from the Hummingbird Bakery on Kings Road in London and they are called Red Velvet .

 

 Heather Wells based in California creates adorable miniature food jewellery, that happens to look really realistic ! From pizzas to scrambled eggs, or marshmallows to ice lollies  Heather does offer quite a wide variety of inventive foods to choose from.When I look at them my mouth waters and I get a bit Hungry .
