Kimonos

The kimono (着物) is a Japanese traditional garment worn by men, women and children. The word "kimono", which literally means a "thing to wear" (ki "wear" and mono "thing"), has come to denote these full-length robes.

I must say I love these oriental oversized cardigans .  They have also become one of the must-haves of this season. They became Fashionable in The fashion world when they were seen in and around festivals with people wearing them with cut-offs and wellies.

However what I love most about them is the variety of kimonos they range from long , short , fringe or not bold or light you can choose everything !

Not that I'm wishing this wonderful summer weather away , but I just had to mention these Fuzzy furry beauties .

Whilst watching a few fashion shows these seemed to pop up a few times . I really love the big chick like fluffiness and I think that they are definitely going to trend this Autumn/Winter !

Sound Cloud - A Music Platform That Will Change Your Life

Ok so Soundcloud is probably the best thing that happened to me since well ..... urm a long time  !
Soundcloud is an online 'audio distribution' platform it lets  its users upload, record, promote and share their originally-created sounds. But I just use it for broadening my musical horizons.

SoundCloud is increasingly becoming a well known social media tool geared for both new and established artists to distribute various media online not limited to DJ mixes, musical compositions and podcasts. It is also increasingly becoming a popular music discovery tool aimed at web users seeking to expand their range of music tastes.

My favourite thing about Soundcloud is the amount of mixes of one song , for example I was listening to 'Attracting Flies' by AlunaGeorge but then I saw the 'Shift K3Y Remix ' of the song and I was like 'what hole have I been living in' and from then on I have found so much music that has inspired , motivated and interested me !

You can make sets and repost songs - so easy !

And it gets better - You can download the songs for free or there is a link on some of the songs to take you to download it on iTunes ! PLus all the free songs appear in your iTunes anyway !

How To Mix Highstreet And Designer

Today I went for a smart ,chic ,simple sophisticated outfit that looks expensive but with the T-Shirt for £22 and the skirt for £18 - BARGIN . However this outfit looks like it does because the expense is invested in the accessories (CELINE BAG) as well as the big shades and statement necklace paired  with a matching iphone . I love a bit of mix and match because if you mix high street and designer you will never know if it is high street as long as you get the pairings right .

The key point to mixing high street and designer is that you buy one highlight designer piece like this Celine bag . Make sure that it is so beautiful it's worth every penny . Many High street shops are basically producing fabulous versions of the designer looks we see on catwalks and can be produced in  less than 2 weeks . When I go into shops I very often see Prada and Gucci repeated a lot !

With such a beautiful REAL bag and an equally as beautiful take on the real runway stuff you will look a million dollars .

And that is how to Mix High street and designer .
